Each CLIOS candle is made in small batches, allowing close attention to every element — from formulation and pour to cure and finish. This deliberate pace ensures clarity, consistency, and a burn that feels as composed as the fragrance it carries.

The Wax
A candle is only as pure as the wax it burns.
Our bespoke blend of coconut wax and natural beeswax is developed for a clean, stable burn and a softly luminous flame. Through extended testing and refinement, we shaped a wax that performs with quiet confidence — smooth melt, gentle diffusion, and minimal soot from first light to last.
It forms the foundation of every CLIOS candle.
Fragrance
All CLIOS fragrances are composed in France, where perfumery is guided by balance and structure.
Working closely with expert perfumers, each scent is developed to unfold gradually and linger softly, creating atmosphere without overwhelming the space. These are fragrances designed to be lived with — subtle, expressive, and attentive to mood.
Beeswax
Our natural beeswax is sourced from countryside farms in Devon, selected for clean, untreated wax and responsible beekeeping practices.
Beeswax lends warmth, density, and a natural luminosity to the flame — a quiet signature of CLIOS quality and performance.
The Vessel
Our minimalist glass vessels are crafted in Italy, where precision and material integrity shape every form.
Designed with clarity and balance, the glass allows the candle’s warm glow to pass softly through — casting a gentle, ambient light as it burns. Weighted for stability and timeless in silhouette, each vessel is made to be reused and lived with long after the final flame.

The Wick
We use precision-engineered wicks from Germany, selected for stability, clean burning, and compatibility with beeswax-rich blends.
Each candle is wicked by hand to suit its exact formulation and vessel, ensuring a controlled flame and an even melt throughout the burn.
Hand-Poured in England
Every CLIOS candle is hand-poured in small batches in England.
Wax is heated slowly, blended with care, poured at a precise temperature, and allowed to cure gradually. Each piece is inspected and finished by hand — a level of attention that cannot be rushed or automated.
The CLIOS Standard
Before leaving the studio, every candle is assessed for burn quality, fragrance balance, flame stability, and finish.
If it does not meet our standard, it does not leave our hands.
